And activity unit is: one page of learning material or an activity introduction or one question that is posed answered, recorded, reported and computed for scoring with metrics.
-
The use of other components or services within the NowCE platform are included in these elements. There’s no extra cost to deliver a fully featured learning activity. Extra costs only arise if we need to engage with third parties specified by you, or if you need a service which is specific to you.

-
When you subscribe to a NowCE Eplan (see below), your program will be allocated a quota of activity units relative to the plan you choose. When users first take activities, they consume activity units. These events are recorded and available for you to view at any time. If a user retakes an activity, no units are consumed – it’s free to retake!

-
So whether you build a series of simple learning quizzes that are taken by students at frequent intervals, or a rich content multi-media activity–such as a practice improvement–that is taken individually in steps and over a period of time, then you can be sure that NowCE will deliver a best value solution relevant to the simplicity or detail involved.
-
There is no additional charge for your own branding, post activity evaluations, media or metrics and reporting … because every CME /CPD provider needs them. You can apply the inbuilt peer review process, the disclosure manager and citation wizard at no additional cost. The completion certificate is included too, and on request we can even automate board submission. With user registration and full reporting, NowCE is probably the only LMS you’ll need. However, if you want to interface other systems, we can handle that too. As every case is different we’ll estimate your requirement separately.

-
Use our BaseCamp plan to get started building your first activity – the first month is free and thereafter fee level is fixed.
-
When you are ready to publish your first activity, choose an Eplan that looks about right for your expected use. As usage volumes grow or change you can switch plans. That way you can allow for seasonal variations, high use peaks–such as year end or annual conferences–and periods of lower activity.
-
-
Make a draft plan of your forthcoming activities and then rate each by (a) number pages of learning materials and (b) the number of activity questions. Add (a) + (b) to calculate (u) the number of activity units consumed at each session. Ignore the number of questions in the evaluation/end of activity feedback form. That’s included in your plan.
-
Estimate the number of first time Readers (users) you expect to take this activity over a month or a year.
-
Multiply (u) by estimated number of Readers. This is the number of activity units likely to be consumed.
-
Do the same for all anticipated activities and add the results together for a monthly or annual account which you can pro-rate to a monthly number as you like.
-
Select the Eplan that matches your need.

We want to be extra clear and transparent about how our pricing works.
